You must own legitimate copies of Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, purchased from Blizzard, in order to play Project Diablo II. Using cracked CD-Keys will result in a permanent ban.

1. 1.) Be respectful! Project Diablo 2 (PD2) is a community-first mod and we proudly uphold a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. Players who resort to threats, insults, shaming, or hate speech will be banned.
   Hateful remarks, account names, character names, game names, and/or talk of politics, racism, religion, or illegal activities of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. 2.) Talk, discussion, or use of third-party software such as Bots, Maphack, Autopickup, RMT, Piracy/Torrenting and the likes will not be tolerated. If you are unsure if a program or tool is allowed, please open a game-bug ticket on Discord ( #create-ticket ).
3. 3.) PD2 is a family-friendly community. Posting NSFW ("Not Safe for Work") content will result in your account being muted and/or permanently banned.
4. 4.) This mod requires purchasing an official copy of D2+LoD from Battle.net, available at:

   Talking about or linking to third-party sales or sites is not allowed.
   Accounts locked due to illegitimate copies will not be unlocked. Do not open a ticket regarding accounts locked for illegal copies. Players are permitted to start over on a new account, provided that they have acquired a legitimate version of D2+LoD and reinstalled using said version.
5. 5.) Advertisement and self-promotion are not allowed. You may however post PD2 related content in the ( #media ) Discord channel. Otherwise, your message will be deleted. Repeat offenses may result in punishment, up to and including a permanent ban.
6. 6.) Do not direct message the developers or moderation team. If you have feedback or need support please visit the appropriate channel on Discord. If you need to report a player or file a bug report please open a ticket on Discord ( #create-ticket )
7. 7.) Do not discuss bans, punishments, or player reports in public channels or direct messages. If you have been banned or muted you may appeal by submitting a ticket on Discord ( #create-ticket ). If you wish to appeal a Discord ban, it is possible to send a Reddit ( r/ProjectDiablo2 ) moderator message.
   Moderators discuss punishments within the team and agree upon the appropriate action before making it. Decisions made in appeals are final and will not be negotiated.
8. 8.) Ban evasion is strictly forbidden.
9. 9.) Public shaming of players is forbidden. If you need to report a player please open a support ticket on Discord ( #create-ticket ). The moderation team will handle all incidents on a case-by-case basis.
10. 10.) Trading in the PD2 Discord is forbidden, use the trade site instead.
11. 11.) Abusive trade-site behaviour is forbidden and may result in the loss of trade-site access. Examples include but are not limited to; listing items that are not intended to be sold, rule-breaking or unrelated messages in the 'price' description of a trade listing, double-posting, and market manipulation like price fixing. Notably, "item flipping", i.e. selling an item directly after a trade for more than you bought it, is not considered market manipulation unless it breaks any other rules. In cases of doubt, the moderation team will have the final say.
12. 12.) By using the trade site, Discord, the PD2 servers, or accessing any official PD2-managed service, you are agreeing to abide by these rules. Failure to comply may result in a permanent ban. Please review these rules carefully, ignorance is not an excuse and these rules are subject to change.
